Guests are welcome to check in to their accommodation between 2pm and 8:00pm on the day of arrival. The address for check-in is 23 Jarvis Street. Late arrivals can be accommodated by prior arrangement only. Guests are required to check out by no later than 11am on the day of departure.
For the comfort of our guests, Purple House on Jarvis is a non smoking accommodation establishment. Smoking is allowed on the patio and the roof terrace.
Purple House on Jarvis does not accept any liability for loss of or damage to any valuables or property belonging to guests or their visitors. It is therefore the sole responsibility of all guests to make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior to arrival at Purple House in Cape Town. This includes but is not limited to, photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewellery, cash and vehicles.
Whilst every care has been taken by Purple House Bed and Breakfast to ensure the safety of guests and their possessions whilst enjoying our accommodation, Purple House B&B does not accept any liability in the event that any loss or damage to persons or property is experienced by a guest.
Should Purple House on Jarvis suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.
Purple House on Jarvis at all times reserves the full right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights. Should Purple House at any time need to exercise this right, no reimbursements or refunds will be made in this regard.
Cancellation Policy: If the cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance no cancellation fee will be due.
If the guest communicates the cancellation between 30-15 days before the stay, a cancellation fee of 25% of the entire amount will be applied. If the guest communicates the cancellation within 15 days and 1 day before the stay, a cancellation fee of 50% will be applied. If the guest fails to arrive, a cancellation fee of 100% of the entire amount will be applied.
Changing dates of a reservation will be considered cancelling the original dates and is subject to the cancellation policy. We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.
In these Terms & Conditions Purple House consists of the Purple House B&B on 23 Jarvis Street and the Noon Day Cottage at 19 Jarvis Street.
